Rose made her debut in professional competition at the age of 18 at the Invicta Fighting Championships at which she managed to win two bouts by submission. Dana White noticed this and on December 14, 2014, aged 22 she signed her to fight as a strawweight for UFC. In the course of Rose her career, she's been through periods of highs and lows but each victory has been hers. Rose was a part of Carla Esparza to win the Women s Strawweight Championship in The Ultimate Fighter 20 Finale. Rose won with a technical knockout in under three minutes the round One. Rose was also given the title of Fighter Of The Night and made history as it marked the first time a women has ever been a fighter on a level of championships with a major promoter across the globe. In the aftermath of this win Namajunas went onto have several victories, including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC after these wins .
